ARK is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) organization consisting of an all volunteer network of
    state and federally
licensed wildlife rehabilitators.  We take in the orphaned and injured native Virginia wildlife for rehabilitation and release it back into its natural habitat.

It's that time a year again.  Baby squirrels are being born and baby owls will be hatching very soon.  Please be alert and watch for nests when cutting down trees and removing animals from your attic.

ARK volunteers have lined up fund raisers and the Education Zone has scheduled programs to help support wildlife and enable ARK to continue its mission of nurturing nature for 2010.

ARK would like to express its gratitude to the G. Vernon Knight and Kathryn H. Knight Memorial Fund of the Community Foundation, serving Richmond and Central Virginia.  Recommended by Vernon E White.  ARK’s efforts could not exist without support and charity such as yours.  Thank you!

ARK is thrilled to have been chosen as a recipient of the Richmond Flying Squirrels Baseball Team’s fundraiser held this past December.  Members Kim Smalley and Colleen Harlow were there to accept the extremely generous donation.  Much appreciation to the Richmond Flying Squirrels!

ARK is thankful again this year for another donation form the Woman's Club of Powhatan in Powhatan, Virginia.  They have been a supporter of ARK for a few years now.  Thank you Powhatan Woman's Club for being there for us.

ARK is very greatful to the Monday Nighters Circle at Powhatan United Methodist Church, Powhatan, Virginia for their donatoin and support.
